From here just locate the drive or ISO path of your Windows XP Professional SP2 Installer.

Step: 7

If you’re running a Quad/Dual Core CPU, you’ll have to change “Number of cores per processor” to “2″ then click Next.
Step: 8

For setting the RAM for yourVM you’ll need to change it to 1024MB (768 MB if you really are lacked of RAM) but I recommend 1024MB. Then you may click Next.
Step: 9

Choose “Use Network address translation (NAT) for networking and your internet connection inside your Virtual Machine.
Step: 10

This section is for your Hard Disk or SSD you may choose the (Recommended) option then click Next.
Step: 11

For New users you only have to choose “Create a new virtual disk” then click Next, a window will ask for IDE or SCSI, just choose the Recommended option.
For Advance users you may choose “Use a physical disk” this means you’ll be using a partitions or your main HD.
Step: 12

For this part you can choose the size of your HD to 10GB since Windows XP don’t take too much space etc…
Choose Allocate all disk space now and Store Virtual disk.
Next Window will just show you all the configurations we just did just click Finish and power up your New Virtual Machine. It will automatically install your Window XP on the designated location/path.
